Composition: Plant extracts of: Horehound (Marrubium valgare L.), Mallow (Malva sylvestris L.), Chamomile flowers (Matricaria chamomilla L.), Viscous globe-thistle (Echinops spinosissimus); Petrolatum. 100% natural product. No artificial preservatives, colorants and fragrances.

Mode of action: This natural ointment contains several ingredients with therapeutic benefits for hemorrhoids:

Horehound (Marrubium vulgare L.):

• Function: Anti-inflammatory, astringent, and antimicrobial.
• Mode of action: Contains marrubiin, a diterpene with anti-inflammatory properties, and tannins that have astringent effects and reduce inflammation. Also exhibits some antimicrobial activity.
• Benefits: Reduces inflammation and swelling, helps shrink hemorrhoids, and helps prevent infections.

Mallow (Malva sylvestris L.):

• Function: Emollient, soothing, and anti-inflammatory.
• Mode of action: Contains mucilage, a polysaccharide with soothing and hydrating properties. Also possesses anti-inflammatory compounds.
